Good day all!
So my week is going to busy traveling to trainings but I did get a walk in yesterday!!! GO ME!
What do you all do when your schedules get busy and you don't have the extra energy??
Again...
Have started again and again...weight loss, organizing, keeping life simple...the list goes on and on. I am human and can only take one step at a time. I want to share my stories of life and get feedback on how to make the best of it.

Hey all!
Lots of new things going on here in my little chunk of the world. Got a new job!!!! So last week was pretty draining for me and my diet and exercise, or lack of, showed! Bumped up a few notches...but I am not going to beat myself up about it. Just going to start the week fresh. I recite the same sentences every morning cause each day is a new slate of starting over. Even if the day before is successful.
So the new job is a breath of fresh air. I don't feel any toxicity in the air and there is no vending machine! Or 50 people that could possibly have snacks!!! Just what I bring. Everyone is pleasant at my new job. I am not continuing to look behind me to see where the knife might be. So I think with the stress level down, I may end up having some emotional and physical successes coming my way!
On the home front...FALL IS HERE! I love this time of year! I can go outside and not sweat the second I step foot into fresh air! No air conditioners, just fans. Allergies take a rest. It is heaven.
So Pink Papaya has Pumpkin Latte scented hand wash and lotion, and I swear I could eat my arm!! It is so yummy! It is perfect for Fall. Check it out and when you purchase a set, you get a 5$ Starbucks card to get a real Pumpkin Latte. :)
Daily Goal:
Walk at lunch time
Drink my water
Weekly Goal:
Jog on the treadmill after work 3 days this week
Monthly Goal:
Lose a total of 5 pounds
Later peeps!

A new laptop!!
So we finally have a new laptop so this blogging business will be easier than when I did it on my phone! I love my new touchscreen laptop, it is so pretty and easy to use.
So what is new these days? Well I started T25 and I LOVE IT! It is Shaun T's new program that is only 25 minutes long. And let me tell you how intense that is! It is a sweat fest! I am only a week into it but I can feel a difference and I have about 9 weeks to go...
My goal..to feel comfortable when I go to Jamaica in March! Ya baby, Jamaica!! All expense paid trip for ME!!! I love me some Pink Papaya! I became a consultant and I am doing a bang up job at it! I love these products so much! It is natural skin care, lotions and makeup. You gotta check it out! I really enjoy doing the parties and sharing the goods with others, that is my favorite part. And now, they want to send me to Jamaica, SURE! :) You wanna go with me? Get on my team!!!
Life on the ranch is good. It is hay season and this year we have 60 acres of our own alfalfa. I am very proud of my husband for turning into a business man!
Well this is all for now...I must turn in for the night so I can get my lazy butt up and workout before the little guy wakes up! :)

Well I am back at it! I am exercising and and eating healthy (somewhat) and I will lose 50 pounds!! I figure the blogging will help, it helped before, so here I am!
I have a new Beachbody coach!!! Renee San Miguel! My sister!! I am so happy for her to be starting on this new adventure! I am hoping to buy the new T25 from her soon! Maybe after a couple Pink Papaya parties...oh ya, my new adventure! :) More on that later...
Here is a little something from my walk this morning:

Here is a little something from my walk this morning:
It was such a beautiful morning! I haven't found a morning yet where it wasn't peaceful and serene out. I am really liking my morning walks, but I wish I had more time. I already get up at 4:30 and I try to get out the door by 4:45. I try to get at least 4 miles in but sometimes it is only 3.5. I think I am going to add a workout video either during my lunch hour or in the evening. Maybe I will switch it up so I don't feel stuck doing workouts at night when I want to do something else.
So what have you all been up to? I would love to hear what's new with you and any ideas you may have!

Week three!
I have been getting up at 4am most days and two days a week have used my lunch hour to do my P90X workout! I still love it! Lol! It is so rewarding and challenging. I feel stronger and I am wearing a pair if prepregnancy jeans today!
I have a coach with this program that doesn't live to far from me and I am going to get some shakeology from get. They are protein meal replacement shakes. I love my protein shakes so I think I might as well follow the whole program and BRING IT the best I can!
Anyone else out there try this program?

P90X
So week one is in the books and week two is almost half way over! It is flying by, never thought I would say that about extreme exercise! The only downfall this week is that I have a cold. It is bringing me down, down, down!!!! But the upside is that it won't last forever! I am noticing a difference already and I know by the end of the first month, I will be rocking some muscles! This program is TOUGH!
I have found by asking some people that are doing this program too, that they don't appear or even have told me that they aren't sore. How can that be??? I have asked others who have done it before who are in excellent shape about this and they tell me not to worry, they just aren't pushing themselves or are not doing it right. Made me feel better but also made me feel kind of sad for the people who aren't pushing themselves. Why do the program if your not going to go extreme? That is what it is all about! But kudos to them for pushing play right?
I have been experimenting and researching recovery drinks that don't cost a fortune. Any ideas?

P90X
Hey folks!
My husband and I are on a journey together. We finished day 3 of P90X together this morning! Let me tell you, we get up at 4am, we BRING IT for over an hour and then we drink protein shakes together! This is probably the best thing for our marriage! LOL! Mentally, physically, and emotionally.
This program is extreme that is for sure. I feel so sore but yet so good. I am tired. But I do want to do it again the next day. The first day was a lot of push ups and pull ups. The next day was Plyometrics. As long as it wasn't push ups or pull ups, I was happy! :) This morning was shoulders and arms. Last night I didn't think I would be able to do it because I was so sore and stiff from Monday's workout, but after stretching out and getting warmed up, I was able to perform to the best of my ability. I was shocked and very pleased with myself and with my husband. :)
It is funny because my husband is pretty fit and very active with his job. He keeps checking to see how I am feeling and if I am sore. I say yes and he is relieved because he is too! LOL! So I know it is working us both!
I am psyched to see what this will do with our physical states! :) I know I can do this for the whole 90 days. So when I am done maybe I will share my before and after photos? :)
Tomorrow 4am...yoga!

Hello folks!
I have been missing in action lately. Still moving and eating the best I can and still living life to the fullest. A lot of things are going on in my life and I only have so much time during the day and blogging got put to the wayside. But I miss you.
Monday my hubby and I are starting P90X! I am so excited to work out with him and he is just as excited!! We have taken our before pictures and our measurements. He isn't overweight by any means but does want to bulk up and have some rippling muscle definition. And I of course want the same, but am not starting out as "not overweight". HA!
I have been happier and life is great right now. I am content and the forces that try to beat me down, just don't seem to get through like they use to. My family is awesome.
I am going to sign off with an awesome photo I took yesterday....

Shelves
I am in love with my shelves my husband made me! Aren't they beautiful? He welded the brackets or whatever you call the holders, lol, out of horseshoes to match the rest of our western decor.
And by the way, the skull is a buffalo. His name is Charlie.

Looking for cows
So every day my little boy crawls as fast as he can to the window when he hears his daddy coming to feed the cows in the feed lot next to our house. There are always cows staring at us through this window!
But he was sleeping during feeding this morning and when he got up he went to check out the cows through the window and he couldn't see them! He started to get the big frown sad cry face that is just so cute/sad at the same time! Well daddy is working cows today. I had to tell my baby boy that the cows will be back soon.

Wednesday weigh in
So I weighed in 182.8! That's a loss of 2.8 and back to where I was prior to the holidays lol. So I feel god about that!
I have been researching and learning about what foods to be eating that are food for me. I have been eating a lot more protein and fiber. I bought some vanilla almond milk to see what that tastes like.
I am feeling pretty good! Going to exercise tomorrow. Going to bed now lol! It's been a long couple of days.

I have a question...
After losing weight I see that some people fall of the wagon so to say. What is it that made you fall? What made you think it was on again to eat unhealthy or not exercise? What was your trigger?
If we work so hard at losing weight and striving at healthy eating and exercise so that it is our way of life, why do we give it up?
I have to admit I have gained and I believe I am back at 186. But with eating clean for the last couple of days I hope to see a little change in the scale tomorrow and even more next Wednesday. I have a banquet to go to this weekend but I will bring my own foods just in case my options are slim. I am going to have my husband there I help me and tell me no if need be lol! And also it is PMS time. So now wonder I am wanting chocolate!!!
What will the scale say tomorrow?

Eat clean
So I am day 2 of totally clean eating. Yesterday I had a headache by the end of the day. I wanted to start this after my birthday that was on Sunday. Cause my daughter made me an awesome birthday cake!
So I have still been on the lookout for examples of people following healthy lifestyles and what their day is like. I got a great response from Keelie! Thank you Keelie!
Majority of the time I feel pretty good about myself and how I'm looking and am able to go about my day positively. I think to myself that I'm healthier, I'm skinnier, I look damn good! Then I see a reflection and say "who the heck is that?" "ick!". "need to fix this!" HA! Then I have to mentally start over. Sometimes I have even said to myself "oh geez, I forgot I look like that". So at least I can forget and work on the change. Lol.
People judge by how many times you start over. But really weight loss is always in our mind so did we really stop?
Still taking comments on how you live your healthy lifestyle day to day. What's your average day look like? What thoughts or decisions do you have to make to stay lean?

Live your life like a healthy person
So over the past week I have refreshed myself in this healthy journey and I have run across the saying "live your day like you've lost 50 pounds an you will end up there" "live like a healthy person". I understand the general concept of this way if thinking and it make sense but my question is how does the average everyday healthy person live? What is an example of their day? Do they constantly think of ways to b healthy or does it just come naturally? Do they say to themselves "if I eat this I will gain weight"? Or do they just go about their marry way? What do thy do when they see a plate of brownies or a box of pizza? What about when they are dragging butt tired? I would love for my readers to answer these questions for me. I would love to here about your average day no matter how boring it may be to you or how simple I may seem. To me it is the most interesting! I may have to ask a few people I know I they would be willing to journal their day for me. What does Adar in the life of a healthy person who isn't trying to lose weight look like???

Christmas done...
So I'm trying out blogging from my iPhone so this is kind of a test.
Hope your holidays were jam packed with fun like ours were. New years will be quiet for us though. We usually stay home with appetizers and movies.
So I got a huge hungry girl cookbook for Christmas. I am loving the simplicity of it. And so far everything is good!
I am sure I have gained a pound over the Christmas feasting. But I'm ok with it. We made lots of good memories. It was our baby boys first Christmas and he made out with some awesome toys! Out daughter got what she asked Santa for too! It was a good year. I'm very proud of my family.
I have caught the cold. I don't feel too bad just drained. Keeping moving and keeping on with the food logging on My Fitness Pal and I will conquer all! And lots of water!
So let's see if this blog post will go through... I'll blog more later.

Wednesday Weigh In and other tidbits...
The number today...(drum roll) 182! Loss of 1 lb! I am steadily losing in a healthy fashion and it is great! I feel great! I have to say seeing this weight is a big relief. I haven't seen this number since before I was pregnant.
I would like to thank My Fitness Pal for their continuous support and positive actions to get me to the lowest number on the scale. I would like to thank my blogging friends Prior Fat Girls, Tricia, Real Fat Blog, and all my twitter friends. Of course I would love to thank my family for their continued support and putting up with all my crazy meals! Oh, I am running out of time, I will have to just thank all my fans! Que the music! HA!
This time of year is a sneaky calorie one. All the goodies and parties!!! I must plan accordingly and so far so good.
So my husband took a try at my roasted Kale chips again and I told him the last time I made them I did it wrong that this batch would be better. He loved them! I kept catching him eating more and more!!! I had to stop him or I wouldn't have any to snack on today!! What a funny thing, to make a family member stop eating veggies! Never thought I would see the day!
So I must go and log my kale chips into My Fitness Pal... until next time!
