The Ranchers Wife
Again...
Have started again and again...weight loss, organizing, keeping life simple...the list goes on and on. I am human and can only take one step at a time. I want to share my stories of life and get feedback on how to make the best of it.

Hey all!
Lots of new things going on here in my little chunk of the world. Got a new job!!!! So last week was pretty draining for me and my diet and exercise, or lack of, showed! Bumped up a few notches...but I am not going to beat myself up about it. Just going to start the week fresh. I recite the same sentences every morning cause each day is a new slate of starting over. Even if the day before is successful.
So the new job is a breath of fresh air. I don't feel any toxicity in the air and there is no vending machine! Or 50 people that could possibly have snacks!!! Just what I bring. Everyone is pleasant at my new job. I am not continuing to look behind me to see where the knife might be. So I think with the stress level down, I may end up having some emotional and physical successes coming my way!
On the home front...FALL IS HERE! I love this time of year! I can go outside and not sweat the second I step foot into fresh air! No air conditioners, just fans. Allergies take a rest. It is heaven.
So Pink Papaya has Pumpkin Latte scented hand wash and lotion, and I swear I could eat my arm!! It is so yummy! It is perfect for Fall. Check it out and when you purchase a set, you get a 5$ Starbucks card to get a real Pumpkin Latte. :)
Daily Goal:
Walk at lunch time
Drink my water
Weekly Goal:
Jog on the treadmill after work 3 days this week
Monthly Goal:
Lose a total of 5 pounds
Later peeps!

A new laptop!!
So we finally have a new laptop so this blogging business will be easier than when I did it on my phone! I love my new touchscreen laptop, it is so pretty and easy to use.
So what is new these days? Well I started T25 and I LOVE IT! It is Shaun T's new program that is only 25 minutes long. And let me tell you how intense that is! It is a sweat fest! I am only a week into it but I can feel a difference and I have about 9 weeks to go...
My goal..to feel comfortable when I go to Jamaica in March! Ya baby, Jamaica!! All expense paid trip for ME!!! I love me some Pink Papaya! I became a consultant and I am doing a bang up job at it! I love these products so much! It is natural skin care, lotions and makeup. You gotta check it out! I really enjoy doing the parties and sharing the goods with others, that is my favorite part. And now, they want to send me to Jamaica, SURE! :) You wanna go with me? Get on my team!!!
Life on the ranch is good. It is hay season and this year we have 60 acres of our own alfalfa. I am very proud of my husband for turning into a business man!
Well this is all for now...I must turn in for the night so I can get my lazy butt up and workout before the little guy wakes up! :)

Here is a little something from my walk this morning:

Here is a little something from my walk this morning:
It was such a beautiful morning! I haven't found a morning yet where it wasn't peaceful and serene out. I am really liking my morning walks, but I wish I had more time. I already get up at 4:30 and I try to get out the door by 4:45. I try to get at least 4 miles in but sometimes it is only 3.5. I think I am going to add a workout video either during my lunch hour or in the evening. Maybe I will switch it up so I don't feel stuck doing workouts at night when I want to do something else.
So what have you all been up to? I would love to hear what's new with you and any ideas you may have!

Week three!
I have been getting up at 4am most days and two days a week have used my lunch hour to do my P90X workout! I still love it! Lol! It is so rewarding and challenging. I feel stronger and I am wearing a pair if prepregnancy jeans today!
I have a coach with this program that doesn't live to far from me and I am going to get some shakeology from get. They are protein meal replacement shakes. I love my protein shakes so I think I might as well follow the whole program and BRING IT the best I can!
Anyone else out there try this program?

P90X
So week one is in the books and week two is almost half way over! It is flying by, never thought I would say that about extreme exercise! The only downfall this week is that I have a cold. It is bringing me down, down, down!!!! But the upside is that it won't last forever! I am noticing a difference already and I know by the end of the first month, I will be rocking some muscles! This program is TOUGH!
I have found by asking some people that are doing this program too, that they don't appear or even have told me that they aren't sore. How can that be??? I have asked others who have done it before who are in excellent shape about this and they tell me not to worry, they just aren't pushing themselves or are not doing it right. Made me feel better but also made me feel kind of sad for the people who aren't pushing themselves. Why do the program if your not going to go extreme? That is what it is all about! But kudos to them for pushing play right?
I have been experimenting and researching recovery drinks that don't cost a fortune. Any ideas?
